Brella Telecom Ltd. was founded by former work colleagues who having spent time in the software industry and the mobile industry, recognised the similarity between the technological shift in the mobile market and the one they had been involved in while working for Canon (UK) Ltd. more than 10 years previously. Back then, the challenge was to shift the mindset and the culture in the business community away from standalone photocopying machines to integrated Multi Functional Devices which could scan, fax and print. These MFDs were embraced because they offered significant improvements to processes, workflow and costs, especially when accompanied by enabling software, a combination that proved difficult to overlook because it provided a smarter way of working and a quick and sound return on investment.
Fast forward to today, and an almost identical business case can be made for mobile technologies and applications, the main difference being that in most Companies they already have compatible handsets in use, so there's often no need for expensive capital expenditure.
As well as using advances in mobile technology to deliver real business benefits, Brella Telecom have responded to the added pressures placed on Companies by the recent changes in Duty of Care legislation (The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, etc.). We have brought together a number of products which aid compliance and reduce risk by supporting and protecting both the individual and the Company.
